Liz Ulmer is a theatrical management professional based in New York City with over 12 years of producing and administrative experience.
She works as the Senior Manager of Stage Rights at Sony/ATV, where she handles music licensing for Broadway shows such as Ain't Too Proud and Moulin Rouge, as well as various live stage events throughout the world.
Prior to her engagement at Sony/ATV, Liz served as the General Manager of TheaterWorksUSA, a premier provider of theatrical experiences for young and family audiences, overseeing administrative operations for dozens of tours and workshops annually.
From 2014 to 2017, Liz was the Managing Director of the New York Musical Festival (NYMF), a large festival devoted to musical theater that annually presented almost 50 productions, readings, workshops and educational events.
Producing credits include the New York Times Critic's Pick Independents (Soho Playhouse) and I Got Fired: The Revenge Musical (NYC premiere and subsequent production in Daegu, South Korea). General Management credits include Real Men (New World Stages) and the multimedia spectacle Wing-Man (Ars Nova). She helmed many individual NYMF shows such as Georama (Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Playwrights Horizons); Academia Nuts (Pershing Square Signature Center); Date of a Lifetime (McGinn/Cazale Theatre); Flambé Dreams (45th Street Theatre), and the circus/trapeze musical The Awakening of Angel DeLuna (Pershing Square Signature Theatre Center).
As a company manager, she worked with Davenport Theatrical (Clinton the Musical at New World Stages) and DR Theatrical Management (Tail! Spin! at Lynn Redgrave Theater and Stalking the Bogeyman at New World Stages).
Liz's charity concerts, produced at New World Stages, Laurie Beechman Theatre, Green Room 42, and the Triad (Stage 72), have benefited Artists Striving to End Poverty, Planned Parenthood, and the Human Rights Campaign, among others.
She has served as a guest lecturer at NYU Tisch School of The Arts ("Theatrical Administration"), and City University of New York ("Project Management").
Liz is a proud graduate of Ithaca College.
